Normally the movement of joints should be pain free and unrestricted, through a biomechanical assessment, any structural and functional problems can be highlighted. A range of treatments are available from strengthening exercises to orthotic provision, tailor made to the individual needs of your assessment outcome.
If this proves to be unsuccessful or there is recurrent infection then nail surgery can be considered.
Nail surgery is carried out at the clinic and takes approximately 1 hour to 1hr 30mins. Post and preop advice is given out and a medical assessment is carried out before treatment to establish suitability. A follow up appointment is included for redressing and assessment of the wound.
